What makes the Rotak 34 LI so different?
It’s cordless. Which means no cord tangled around trees or garden ornaments, no cord stopping you from reaching the bottom of the garden, no cord damaging the flower beds. But most importantly, there is no chance of cutting the cable whilst mowing.
The Bosch Rotak 34 LI Ergoflex is powered by a 36 volt/2.6Ah lithium-ion battery. Li-ion batteries are preferable because:
they don’t lose charge when stored, so they are ready when you are- they are about half the weight of conventional batteries but with the same amount of charge and power
- they retain their charge capacity and can be recharged more times than normal batteries
- they can be fully recharged in 90 min, or charged up to 80% in as little as an hour
Also, the Bosch cordless mower range have an Efficient Energy Management (EEM) system to increase the mower running time. It does this by cutting non-vital electronics to keep the blade speed constant and recovering the kinetic energy from the blade run-down when the mower is turned off.

To help gardeners with back and joint problems, Bosch introduced of the ‘Ergoflex system’ to their Rotak 34/37/40/43 corded and Rotak 34LI/37LI/43LI cordless mowers at the beginning of 2011.
The Ergoflex system is built around a multi-position mower handle and adjustable work height so that gardeners can work in an ergonomically correct position, without hunching, and still relieving joint strain. In addition, the user’s arms and hands are only slightly bent during mowing ensuring years of trouble free mowing.
To save time and effort, Bosch has come up with unique grass combs that guide the grass directly towards the mowing blade so you can cut the grass up against a wall or tree, meaning you don’t have to do it manually.
The Bosch Rotak 34 LI ergoflex has powerful Powerdrive motor with a 34-centimetre cutting width and a large 40L grass catcher that is recommended for a medium to large lawn area. A single lever enables you to quickly and easily change the height of cut from 20 mm to 70 mm and a rear roller enables you to draw grass stripes on your lawn. The Rotak 34 LI only weighs 12.5 kg, so it is easy to carry and store. And you also get to reduce your carbon footprint!
