What is the Rotak 32?

The Rotak mower range are rotary mowers that have a single blade that rotates about a vertical axis, in contrast to cylinder or reel mowers that rotate around a horizontal axis.

Rotary mowers were originally only powered by the internal combustion engine. These petrol mowers have a lot of power and a long distance range, however, they do create pollution due to their combustion in the engine, and they need regular maintenance.

With the inception of the electric mower, environmentally conscious consumers were able to use a mower with a significantly reduced carbon footprint. The Bosch Rotak 32 mower has a  32-centimetre cutting width and a large 31-litre grass box, which lessens the number of times you have to do the most hated job when mowing the lawn – emptying the grass catcher. Other features include three different settings for cutting height of 20 – 60 mm, and a fast rotating blade that generates a strong airflow that sets the grass upright and feeds the debris into the grass catcher. And you also get to reduce your carbon footprint!
